This began with a medically induced coma, medically induced paralysis, trachea in my neck and remaining in ICU for four weeks. After a nine week catastrophic experience in three different hospitals, my muscles were atrophied. I had to learn to walk, talk, eat and swallow all over again and go through extensive rehabilitation and therapy for the next several months. I had to work extremely hard to get my business going again after my recovery. I was awarded the #2 agent out of 101 agents at our office in a very challenging real estate market only working part of the year due to my illness! In 2008, I was awarded the #1 agent at our office and continued to be a top agent ever since!
